I've been applying artificial intelligence to business problems since 1985 — longer than most people in AI marketing have been alive.
My career began at Inference Corporation, a pioneer in AI expert systems, where I built solutions for NASA, Boeing, Ford, and American Airlines. Four decades and five technology waves later, I founded GravityTalk.
I didn't discover AI in 2023. I was building expert systems for Pacific Bell, American Express, and the Department of Defense before the internet existed as we know it. I ran Expertec Corporation — an AI products and services company — for seven years, before the gravity of digital marketing pulled me into a new orbit.
Over the following two decades, I became one of the most experienced lifecycle marketing operators in the industry. At IBM/Silverpop, I ran strategy services for Disney, Honda, and Mazda. At Shift, I led a 40+ person organization with $25M+ in revenue from AARP, Verizon, Atlassian, and Reddit.
I was part of the founding team at Cordial — building the book of business from zero to 50+ clients. Most recently, VP of Business Intelligence, Marketing Operations, and Data at Moontide, leading teams of data scientists and marketing automation specialists.
